John brings over 10 years of experience in online marketing, Ecommerce, web application design, product management and project management to Closed Loop Marketing. John applies his experience in both strategy and implementation to help his clients improve their online marketing results from the initial impression to the final sale.
After receiving an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, John worked as a Project Manager in both an outside consultant and in-house role. While enjoying the rigors of managing large-scale projects, John became increasingly frustrated with the failure of software applications to meet the needs of its users. John immersed himself into the discipline of user-centered design and the application of analytics to the planning and design processes. With a strong user focus, the proper application of hard data and a knack for addressing and managing the needs of various stakeholders, John dramatically improved his projects' success.
As opportunities arose, John expanded his approach into online marketing and sales operations management. This allowed him to develop a thorough understanding of the sales process and gave him a strong sense of how the decisions made regarding one-phase of the sales cycle impact the others. The result was the development of effective and holistic strategies for online success.
John has worked with both public and private organizations and previously held the position of Senior Vice President for Product and Site Management at InsWeb.com.
Outside the office, John spends nearly all his time keeping up with his wife Christy and his three children. However, he does find some time to run, cycle and listen to live music.
